10 Best PC Shooting Games From The Last 10 Years!

Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare

A gem at its time. COD 4 was one of the best shooters from the series, mainly due to its strong multiplayer, where hardcore mode gives you a sense of realism – no HUDS and where 1-shot-1 kills happen. Good audiovisual presentation. intelligent squad A.I. and a successful multiplayer. Too bad, the single player campaign was too short though.

Call of Juarez: Gunslinger

If you’re a fan of old Western-style gun-toting mayhem, then look no further Call of Juarez: Gunslinger may not have a multiplayer at its disposal, but the fun and rich story-driven single player is more than enough to get you hooked, with its: cool comic-style cutscenes. expert voice acting. and a well-made character progression system. However, the dueling was.. uhh.. kind of broken.

Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare

Cute and FUN! Is what this game is. From very solid roots, Garden Warfare does superb on transforming the top-down genre into a full 3rd-person shooting goodness! With very detailed representations of characters. Bright and colorful environment. Tons of varied and unique classes. and a nice customization feature, so you can make your own personal badass!

Counter-Strike: Global Offensive

The best, if not – the most successful online multiplayer shooter franchise ever! There’s not much change in this sequel except for an updated look and a few new modes. The player skill-based system of counter-strike is just as intense as ever.. as longtime players duke it out into the most complete and best-looking CS as of yet. However, the game can be brutally punishing for newcomers.

Mass Effect 2

A 3rd-person-shooter that is more of an RPG, but still a solid shooter nonetheless This story-driven game is one of the best in its genre. With a great cast of characters, superb dialogue, a powerful choice-driven story~ where everything depends on your choices, and solid shooting mechanics. This game is almost A+ in every field, if not for its framerate drops and occasional bugs and glitches.

Bioshock Infinite

The bioshock series has been one hell of a crazy ride, and this sequel will not disappoint! Fresh-out from the bowels of Rapture, Infinite takes you to the skies! The floating city of Columbia is stunning, with vivid colors and beautifully-dressed characters.. the only problem with it is its absurd morals and principles. A fresh new take on first-person shooters.

Borderlands 2

Shoot, loot, and shoot some more! This is what the game is all about, with a vast and rich open world, you can almost go anywhere and collect as many guns as you want! And if ever you feel bored playing alone, you could always jump to co-op multiplayer. Sadly though, it can only be played online, with no option for local multiplayer.

Left 4 Dead 2

The game that has the best A.I. controlled zombies! No other game forces you to be alert at all times. The zombies are fast, unpredictable, and with a few over-mutated ones – hard to deal with. The game has high replayability, and a very ”team-based” gameplay. However, the lack of innovation and a less than perfect A.I. companion is~ a minus.

Team Fortress 2

What we love about this game is that since its a class-based shooter, you get to experiment on what play style suits you best, and how it will benefit the team. With its cartoony style, a wide range of classes, each having their own roles, and a sense of humor that stays all throughout the game.. TF2 will forever be one of my favorites.

Half-Life 2

After its huge success over the first game, Half-Life 2 does not disappoint. And as before, the story is superb! With a great sci-fi feel, excellent voice acting, good graphics, and a revolutionized gameplay that paved the way for a lot of shooting games, this game is like a deep, engrossing novel coming-to-life. A classic.
