10 Best PS Vita Fighting Games So Far!

Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3

Let me just say that this would have been one of the best if not for its touch-control feature. The Vita version is in no way inferior compared to the other consoles, in fact there isn’t even a tiny drop in frame rate during intense combat scenes. But for online play, your connection still matters. Overall, its a solid fighting game that I enjoyed very well.

Dynasty Warriors 8: Xtreme Legends Complete

Edition A pure hack n’ slash goodness! Complete Edition packs ithe original game, plus the Xtreme Legends edition, where you can play Lu Bu’s campaign. And if you’re a series fan, I’m pretty sure you wouldn’t miss this. as always – great combat. tons of weapons lots of game modes and awesome combos Sadly.. this port feels like a rushed one, since framerate drops and messed-up textures happen often.

Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Z

It’s always fun to revisit epic battles from Dragon Ball Z, especially when you are the one controlling them! The game offers very detailed and fun character customization. a great art style that nails the anime look. and a chaotic, awesome boss fights! Unfortunately, the game suffers very bad A.I., repetitive shallow combat, and an unbalanced multiplayer.

Arcana Heart 3: Love Max!!!

Do you like fighting-girls? then look no further coz this game is an all-female combat fiesta! From over 23 fighters to choose from and 19 ”arcanas” to pair them with, this game is a ”find your play-style that works” kind of game. Experiment with different combinations and arcana combos that best suit you. Arcana Heart 3 has bright and colorful visuals full screen super attacks varied character designs fluid controls and an excellent 60 fps display

Street Fighter X Tekken

A game, fighting fans shouldn’t miss! Two of the most well-known fighting game franchises collab to create a one-of-a-kind game. SF cross Tekken, incorporates street fighter’s fast-paced and cartoony design into the little-more-intricate combat mechanics of Tekken. the game is smooth with great stylish visuals. a welcome assist system and an intriguing story mode. online connectivity can be quite inconsistent though and might take out the fun in it if you’re not that patient.

Phantom Breaker: Battle Grounds

This beat-em-up brawler pays homage to arcade-style retro goodness! The combat looks pretty, conidering the fact it’s in 16-bit. moves are fast music is a blast and boss fights are intense – maybe even way too intense that sometimes its frustrating. I have admit though this is a super fun game and all, but the experience dies out too quickly. Shallow repetition can get boring if played in long periods of time.

PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale

Watch your favorite playstation characters get wild in this awesome brawler, It’s a little more technical than Smash Bros. The game looks good and plays great with almost no framerate drops, even while playing against a PS3 gamer in an multiplayer battle. great-looking stages sophisticated moves. fun 4-player battles. and an awesome cross-play support! the pixelated menu screens and the bad cutscenes should have been polished some more though.

Senran Kagura: Shinovi Versus Don’t judge a book by its cover!

Although many have been put-off by the game’s sexualized portrayal of its all-female cast, the game offers a whole lot more than just that. It has fluid fight animations vibrant visuals great sound and musical quality. and most of all, a solid combat system some balancing issues might sully your experience though, especially on online battles.

Dead or Alive 5 Plus

Finallym A vita port done right! Undoubtedly one of the best fighting games in both handheld and home consoles, DOA5 succeeded in porting its latest game into the Vita without any shocking and noticeable changes. DOA’s countering system works like a charm and its dynamic stages is always a challenge to play with. It also has: smooth combat animations an improved training mode and a cross-play, cross-save functionality

BlazBlue: Continuum Shift Extend

One of the best games from Vita’s launch date! BlazBlue has been dubbed as one of the most complex fighting games there is, and at the same time the most challenging and fun to master! The game looks fantastic, even for a somewhat dated game. has a lot of varied characters tons of content a very in-depth tutorial and a rewarding combat experience. The best there is.
